Proposals are invited for papers on Cult Adaptations for a symposium at the Centre for Adaptations, Faculty of Humanities, De Montfort University, Leicester on Wednesday 25 November 2009. Papers will be welcome on any aspect of the cult / adaptation interface, including: Screen adaptations of cult novels, comics, TV etc Adaptations that become cult Theorising cult, adaptation, audiences and cinephilia Novelisations and other spin-offs from cult films, TV etc., including remakes and sequels Proposals of 200 - 500 words for 20 minute papers should be emailed to Ian Hunter: [log in to unmask] The deadline for proposals is 1 September 2009.
