The International Association of Music Libraries (
This course is designed to give staff involved with music
interlibrary loans a grounding in relevant musical terminology, the sources
available for identifying locations and the issues involved in searching for
music materials in online catalogues.
Who should attend?
Staff in public or academic libraries dealing with music
interlibrary loans on a regular or occasional basis, who feel they lack the
knowledge of musical terminology and reference sources needed to fulfil users’
requests.
Training will be provided by Angela Escott (Royal College of
Music Library), Jane Henshaw (Colchester Institute Library) and Amelie Roper
(Royal College of Music Library).
