Not sure if we have a 'visitor network' at Leeds but the tip is appreciated and gives me a further possibility.

Hello there,

At Birmingham we have wireless access in the office and an account on
the visitor network. This logs me in as if I was off campus and I can
either test resources that are NOT ip authenticated or log into the
university proxy server for proxy testing.

It's something we only set up last year in order to test Shibboleth
authentication migration and it has improved our testing procedures no
end!

Regards
Sarah
