Do you care what shape the ROI is?  You could make a 30 voxel box with fslmaths –roi.

Peace,

Matt.

a good program for this is VBview, part of voxbo (http://www.voxbo.org/index.php/vbview). Make sure you reset the space on the created masks to match the stat map you created it from.

Dear FSL users,

I'd like to set a limit for the number of voxels to be considered in an ROI.
For example, I'd like to design an ROI containing 30 voxels?
I played with fslroi but it doesn't seem to give me what I want. Any idea
will be appreciated.

I apologize in advance if this issue has been raised previously.

Thanks for your help.
