Many thanks to everyone who replied
to my questions about funding for assessments. The responses suggest
there is a wide range of provision:
- means testing as a way of
targeting ALF to those most in need
- ALF paying the whole amount
- students making a contribution
- ALF paying the whole amount
but funding exhausted by the middle of the year
Presumably, this is an area where
things will continue to change as budgets become tighter....
