Hi there,

We have a suggested meeting venue of Oxford and another in Manchester. If
we pick 2 dates and use the same agenda, then people can choose the most
convenient date and/or location.

Best wishes, Marie

Hi

I would prefer July if possible just so we can discuss some issues well in
advance of the new term (gives time should we feel another pre-term
meet-up is needed!). Can I ask that we also discuss issues relating to
notetakers etc not just tutors?

thanks

Dear All,

I agree with Fiona's suggestion on content and also that any meeting
should be 'solution focused'.

August is usually a bad time given peoples holidays. I'd therefore suggest
later in July. Would September be too late?

Please let me have your view on timings. I can promise a nice space for
our discussions, I just need your guidance on time.

Pete

Peter

Many thanks for this, it is much appreciated. I feel there is much value
in sharing best practice and so not reinventing the wheel !

I also think the sessions would be best focussed on how to ensure best
practice for us all to provide best service to our students. For example

cancellation policies,
what does your ILP look like
Do you submit these to funding bodies, if so how and when
Do you provide support prior to AoN, based on acceptable evidence
Do you record what is undertaken in individual sessions, if so how
How do you deal with students who want to access support on a irregular
basis

I do not want to be involved in any session that focusses on banging the
drum against SLC.

Any thoughts on the timing of these events?

Dear All,

Still happy to host the Southern meeting of coordinators if that would be
helpful?
