The site is www.118800.co.uk and has a contact email address that I have used. One comment I noted was that when someone texted an opt-out they were charged at a premium rate. I don't know if this is totally right, but I am not going to find out by texting!

It's that bit about standard network charges still applying that bothers me.  And I still can't see how the proposed service has been set up without conflicting with the requirements in the Privacy & Electronic Communications Regulations (reg 18) which states that the personal data of an individual subscriber shall not be included in a directory unless the subscriber has, free of charge, been informed by the collector of the purposes of the directory;  given the opportunity to determine whether personal data should be included in the directory; and without charge, be able to verify, correct or withdraw those data at any time.
