The RGS-IBG Political Geography Research Group is offering a prize of £75 for the best undergraduate dissertation in political geography submitted to a UK university during the 2008-09 academic year. We welcome nominations that are conceptually, methodologically, and empirically innovative from across the broad spectrum of political geography. Nominations are requested from Dissertation Supervisors or Heads of Department, but should be limited to one per department. Submission of an unmarked copy of the dissertation and letter of recommendation should be sent to Dr Alison Williams (either by post or email to the addresses below). Nominations will be shortlisted by a panel of political geographers from Newcastle University and the winner will be chosen by a panel of PolGRG committee members. Deadline: 10 July 2009
