Equality Bill consultation events

 

A consultation on the public duty section of the Equality Bill will be
held in June. The consultation will consider issues that could have a
significant impact on HEIs, such as the production of equality schemes,
impact assessment and equality reporting.

 

Equality Challenge Unit are holding three consultation events which
offer an opportunity to hear about the implications of the Bill for
higher education institutions and to discuss responses to the
consultation on the proposed public duties. The events will feed in to
ECU's official response to government.

*	Those with responsibility for responding to the Equality Bill
consultation on behalf of their HEI
