We identified that the problem was caused by changes to the Ovid authentication system which denied access to authorised users, and our technical support staff worked closely with Ovid this morning to rectify the fault. Our apologies again for the loss of service. We have been assured by Ovid that they have taken steps to prevent this happening again and we will continue to work with Ovid to monitor the situation.
