I have seen a similar error running randomise: ( x86_64 GNU; Ubuntu 8.04.1; randomise v2.1)

Logic error:- detected by Newmat: Maximum or minimum of null matrix

(I am noticing that running randomise v2.5 on Scientific Linux SL release 4.7 (Beryllium), i686 i368 GNU does not produce that error.)
