The final programme of speakers for our meeting at the Wessex Film & Sound Archive (WFSA) in Winchester, Hants will be circulated in a day or two. In the meantime, travel and accommodation information appear below. BISA meetings offer a great opportunity to catch up on some of the latest developments in audio archiving, and make contact with others in the field. More information on our hosts the WFSA can be found here <http://www3.hants.gov.uk/wfsa.htm> .

I'd like to encourage all those subscribing to the BISA discussion list (the source of this message!) who haven't yet completed a membership form to become full members, to do so now. BISA membership is currently free, allows full involvement in BISA activities, voting rights in elections, and as of this year, reduced registration fees for meetings. There will be a small registration charge for the Winchester meeting to cover costs, of £15 for full BISA members or £25 for non-members. To join BISA, please complete and return the form here <http://www.bisa-web.org/page.php?c1=7&cx1=1> to BISA Secretary Jonathan Draper.

The registration form for the Winchester meeting will be available from www.bisa-web.org in the next day or two, and will be made available via this list.

Travel
WFSA location and information about car parks: http://is.gd/zaEK.

By car: be aware that parking in Winchester can be a problem, unless using the Park and Ride off the M3 motorway.

By rail: there are rail links from various places, including from Wales and the North of England (via Birmingham), the West of England (via Basingstoke or Southampton), and elsewhere via London (Waterloo is only one hour from Winchester).

By plane: Southampton Airport is very handy for those flying in, especially by FlyBe routes - there is a rail link direct from there to Winchester, and it only takes about 15 minutes.

Accommodation
The nearest hotels to the Hampshire Record Office/WFSA are:
'The Winchester Royal Hotel' in St Peter Street (http://is.gd/zbri)
