ISAD(G)

Dear Michael,

While not a descriptive list the Society of Archivists, Ireland, recently completed a project to create guidelines for the use of descriptive standards in Ireland. The guidelines are based on ISAD(G): 2nd Edition (2000) and should be used in conjunction with it. Like ISAD(G), these guidelines facilitate the creation of catalogue records for all kinds of archives. For more detailed description of special format material, such as photographs, maps and audiovisual archives, format-specific standards can also be consulted. The guidelines concern themselves only with the description of archives. They are not a guide to arrangement and use examples from Ireland but may be of some use to you.

Good morning

Does anyone have an example of a descriptive list compiled according to ISAD(G)? I am looking for something that is either available online or that you would be able to send to me as a Word file or pdf... If you have a large number to choose from I am particularly interested in personal papers rather than corporate or organisational records.
