Please find details below of an exciting new opportunity at the University of Liverpool. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ THE UNIVERSITY OF LIVERPOOL CENTRE FOR MEDICAL STATISTICS AND HEALTH EVALUATION (CMSHE) AND LIVERPOOL REVIEWS AND IMPLEMENTATION GRIUP (LRiG) STATISTICIAN £36,532 - £37,651 pa An expansion in the work programmes of the Liverpool Reviews and Implementation Group (LRiG) and the Centre for Medical Statistics and Health Evaluation (CMSHE) has provided an opportunity for the establishment of a new post for a medical statistician to work collaboratively across the groups. Primary responsibilities include statistical support to (i) CMSHE in clinical trials related activities, and (ii) LRiG in the conduct of systematic reviews of clinical effectiveness and evaluation of manufacturer submissions of clinical effectiveness. You should have a degree with substantial statistics component and MSc (or equivalent) with relevant experience in the area of systematic reviews. You will be encouraged to develop your own research interests. The post is available for 2 years initially.
