Many thanks, Fariba The Equality Challenge Unit (ECU) was established in 2001 with the aim of supporting the higher education sector to maximise the potential of all staff (and subsequently students), whatever their race, gender, disability, sexual orientation, religion and belief or age. The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), along with the other funding organisations of the ECU, has commissioned PricewaterhouseCoopers to conduct an independent evaluation of the ECU focusing on: The ECU's performance; Stakeholder satisfaction; and The future demands on, and role of, the ECU. As part of the evaluation, PricewaterhouseCoopers International Survey Unit (ISU) has designed a twenty minute questionnaire for key stakeholders. As you work within the higher education sector, your opinion of the ECU and the wider equality and diversity agenda is extremely important to this evaluation process, and we would be very grateful if you would complete this questionnaire. Please note that your answers will be treated with strict anonymity. If there are other appropriate individuals, working within equality and diversity in your institution, whose views would be useful in this review of the ECU, please feel free to forward a copy of this questionnaire to them.
