Dear all,

We have an event-related fMRI study consisting of an experimental (A) and a
resting (B) session. Within each session participants view emotion (i.e. A1 or
B1) and neutral (i.e. A2 or B2) stimuli. The design is as follows:

                       Session A Session B
Emotion 1 2
Neutral 1 2

We want to compare the brain activation of emotion perception in A with that
in B. We propose a t-contrast, controlling for the effect of head movements:

(A1 - A2) - (B1 - B2) = A1 - A2 - B1 + B2

Are we correct? Or would you think there is/are other more appropriate
way(s)? Look forward to receiving your comments.

Regards,
