I have recently completed my Masters thesis on the subject. It is available here: http://library2.usask.ca/theses/available/etd-04022009-164631/. I'd be happy to look at the collection for you, but logistics might be a problem since I live in Saskatchewan. However, you should be able to do it yourself if you have enough time to learn and a SEM handy. I hope it works out! Good luck and let me know how it turns out or if I can be of any help.

Subject: Re: [ZOOARCH] Butchery marks - tool analysis

Hello Zooarchers,
Just a quick question to see if anyone has any contacts who work on examining cut and chop marks on bone to determine whether they have been made by metal or stone tools. I am looking at a Bronze Age assemblage from Ireland and the excavator would be interested in having this work done.

Thank you
Fiona
