Dear all,
I frequently publicise job advertisements to  PhDs and postdocs here at York, and am very pleased to find out about new vacancies from this list.

I would be very grateful, if when posting job ads you include the weblink to the actual job vacancy rather than simply including a link to the home page of the organisation and leaving us to fend for ourselves from there.  Sometimes even links to the current vacancies section aren't that helpful.

I'm sure it's clear to you, but it's your website.  To busy outsiders, navigating around to find information on a specific post can be irksome.

Thank you!
Hilary

Want to lead on public engagement with exciting and inspirational science and technology? This post at the Science & Technology Facilitites Council's Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire is part of our Science in Society programme. You will help link to audiences such as general public, teachers and schools, and will develop local and regional partnerships so that the Laboratory is a partner and venue of choice for communications, public engagement and education work.

You will manage a small team but also play a strong role in the STFC's wider national programme of public engagement. The Council grant-funds astronomy, space science, particle & nuclear physics; has major facilities/units such as the ISIS Neutron source, Central Laser Facility, e-science unit; and supports two science & innovation campuses. Ideally you will have an interest in such physics-based science & technology, plus experience in outreach.

The Job Reference is CSD036. Salary for this indefinite appointment is in the range £33,118 to £36.798 per annum, dependent on experience. An excellent index-linked pension scheme and generous leave allowance are also offered.
