Dear Colleagues, Please bring the following position to the attention of relevant postdocs and completing graduate students. *Postdoc Position in Spectroscopy of Cold Molecules* A postdoctoral position is available in the research group of Prof. Takamasa Momose at the University of British Columbia, Canada. The research of current interest in the group involves the manipulation of rovibrational wavepackets in the ground electronic states of cold and ultra-cold molecules by either shaped femto-second laser field or phase locked CW radiation. For additional information, please visit: http://www.chem.ubc.ca/personnel/faculty/momose/index.shtml Past experiences in using femto-second lasers, and pulse shaping, or stabilization of CW laser frequencies are desirable. However, particularly strong candidates in other backgrounds but are interested in exploring this research direction are also strongly encouraged to apply. The position is immediately available. Although the initial appointment will be for a one-year period, extensions for additional years are possible upon mutual agreement. Interested persons should submit a covering letter describing a short statement of research interest together with a detailed CV, list of publications, a summary of their previous work, and two or three letters of reference to [log in to unmask] by May 1, 2009.
