The Politics of Human Trafficking and the Challenges of Globalization

‘Human Trafficking,’ starring Mira Sovrino and Donald Sutherland, is the 
story of four
individuals with different backgrounds who fall victim to the same 
network of international
sex slave traffickers.  Join us after the film for coffee and discussion

Keynote Address – Bridget Anderson, ʻVictims and Villainsʼ
Room: Arts A2
Bridget Anderson is the head of the COMPAS programme 'Infrastructures of 
Migration.’
She is the author of 'Labour Exchange: Patterns of Migration in Asia,' 
and 'Doing the Dirty
Work? The global politics of domestic labour.'  She is particularly 
interested in precarious
labour, migration, and the state. She has worked closely with migrants' 
organizations, trades
unions, and legal practitioners at local, national, and the European level.
