Disability Support Co-ordinator - NMA Scheme (Part Time) Disability Resource Centre Vacancy Reference No: 05021 Salary: £20,226-£22,765 pa, pro rata The Disability Resource Centre invites applications for a part-time Assistant Disability Support Co-ordinator. We are looking for highly capable and confident individuals who will recruit, train and retain casual support staff for the Non Medical Assistance scheme. Working with the other members of the Centre, the role-holder will match the Non-Medical Assistants to meet the needs of qualifying disabled students. Excellent written and communication skills are required, as are good organisational skills, a patient attitude, tact, and diplomacy. Discretion is very important as the information handled by the role-holder is of a highly confidential and sensitive nature. IT literacy and confidence in using Microsoft Office Suite is required. A proven track record in recruiting and working with short-term staff and volunteers is desirable. The post is part-time with flexible working hours (520 hours per annum). The interviewing panel will meet soon after the closing date to short-list candidates for whom references will be solicited and who will be invited to attend a formal interview.
