I understood that the transcription of core materials into accessible formats was the responsibility of the institution and hence the application has been correctly rejected? Transcription of materials that are not core...wider reading selected by the student could be reclaimed. The NHS has recently rejected an application for DSA's to fund the costs of transcription of course related materials into an accessible format. This so far totals approximately £8500.
