Hmmm, I suppose there is some merit in this, especially if one can still have an “ordinary” passport. I must still stand against the whole ethos of identity cards though.

 

Having said that I have just come back from the US where they took a mug shot and my finger prints – even the theme parks had finger print recognition – if I’d have known that I may not have bothered!!! Land of the free anyone?
