I take a very robust approach with these people. They do not know that
my neighbour killed my cat and then hid in case anyone had seen the act
(he was a magistrate, too!), and also that he loves Cupressus
Leylandii. So I tell the debt collector to go and chase him as hard as
he can be chased.
I also go up several levels of supervisor to complain about their
intrusion into my life. And I have just mailed a formal complaint to
the OFT about this lot. They like hearing about debt collectors.
Interesting that the debt collectors do not respond well to demands to
know the source of the data record!
