Hello All The Department of Geography at UCC will host the Conference of Irish Geographers in Cork from May 14th to Saturday May 16th. Ranging across a diverse range of human, environmental and physical geography from new and established speakers, 120 papers have been programmed. Keynote speakers include Prof Edward Soja (UCLA) and Prof Jean Pitt (Sorbonne Paris IV). We are confident the conference illustrates the vibrant state of Geography in Ireland and offer new opportunities to meet and discuss the prospects for the discipline in the future.
