Hello all, Yesterday - I received an email from Jenny Porter, Project Manager of Metal ( www.metalculture.com ) - she wrote: I work for Metal is renovating an old train station in Liverpool; Edge Hill station, the oldest passenger railway station in the world. We are hoping to apply to Heritage Lottery for some funding and are very interested to make contact with anyone who could help uncover some of the history surrounding the station, or indeed anyone who has a particular interest in trains and the history of the railways. If you can think of anyone who may be interested in this project or that could help us any way that would be much appreciated. Has anyone any thoughts? I have emailed Tim Young from the Historical Metallurgy Society - and he is going to ask around there. Jenny's email is : [log in to unmask] I hope you are all well and enjoying the sun!
