Dear Pirkko,

A range of morphometrics software is available (mainly freeware) that may be of use to your colleague. Try following the link below and scan through the available software. The TPS series may be of use, although you may require something more advanced.

Hi all,

A colleague at the Finnish Game Research is looking for a method for digitizing about 4000 elk mandibles. The aim is to get as much information (measurements) from them as possible, including thickness of different parts of the mandibula. Can anybody help?

With best regards,

Pirkko Ukkonen
