Dear Henrique The error means that spm_global and possibly other functions as well are not compiled for your system. SPM includes compiled binaries for a wide variety of systems so perhaps these have either been removed from your distribution or the included binaries do not cover your system OS type. In either case you will probably have to compile the files located in the SPM5/src directory. See http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/SPM for various installation and compiling hints and/or search through the spm listserv for the term compile. ----- Darren Gitelman On Wed, Mar 11, 2009 at 10:29 AM, Henrique Fernandes <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > Hi, > > I'm starting to work on DCM studies, so I'm getting my first steps in SPM > and already had a problem that I could not solve yet. > While I was running my first test, I got an error which I can not realize > why, since I've followed all the steps described in the SPM manual. > Everytime I tried to run the fMRI model specification, I got the following > error: > > ________________________________________________________________________ > > Running "fMRI model specification" > Changing directory to: /Applications/MATLAB74/spm5/DCM/attention/test1/ > > SPM5: spm_fMRI_design (v$Rev: 539 $) 13:48:49 - 11/03/2009 > ---------------------------------------------------------------- > Saving fMRI design : > ...SPM.mat saved > > SPM5: spm_fmri_spm_ui (v$Rev: 592 $) 13:48:49 - 11/03/2009 > ======================================================================== > Mapping files : ...done > Calculating globals : 1/360 > Error running job: > Error using ==> spm_global at 22 > spm_global.c not compiled - see Makefile > -------------------------- > Done. > > ________________________________________________________________________ > > > I hope someone may have any suggestions about this error. > > Thanks in advance for your help, > > Henrique >
