Medical Sociology Group Annual Conference 2009

Thursday, 3rd-Saturday, 5th September 2009
University of Manchester, UK

We look forward to welcoming you to the 2009 Annual Medical Sociology
Conference, which will take place at The University of Manchester
[http://www.manchester.ac.uk/]

In 2008, the MedSoc Annual Conference attracted over 250 delegates from
around the world. The event was hailed a great success and very much
enjoyed by all. Past delegates have referred to the event as a 'must'
for anyone within the medical sociology arena and those within closely
related fields.

For 2009 our plenary speakers are Joan Busfield, University of Essex and
Evan Willis, Latrobe University, Australia

The annual conference provides delegates with the opportunity to discuss
the discipline's 'hot topics' within a real community of medical
sociologists.
Papers, posters and other forms of presentation will be structured
around streams that include:

1. Cancer	12. Lay/professional interface
