other night and wondered:-
Why on earth isn't there a
national PR/ad campaign with slogans like:-
Read through the credit
crunch for free at your public library
every book tells a story, at
your public library
no such thing as a free book?
Yes there is, visit your public library
You get owt for nowt! Not
true, visit your public library!
Where else can you explore the
world for free, than your public library
escape on your doorstep, Books
for every one at the public library
banners out side every
library, in the local press, on tea shirts etc etc., wouldn't cost
much to produce in bulk, and there must be some wonderful much better
slogans.
Why isn't MLA or Cilip
doing this, the time is right, the time is NOW!
