Colleagues, just a reminder that there are still places available on this half-day course in Leeds on 21 April.

With an increase in EU-related enquiries expected ahead of the EP elections this June, the course aims to give public librarians greater confidence when dealing with questions about the EU.

It will include sessions on:
- navigating Europa, the EU's main website (with 'hands-on' using examples of typical questions)
- living, working and studying in Europe
- the European Commission in the UK
- the European Parliament and its elections
- non-EU sources

The cost is £70 for EIA Members, £95 for others.

Booking form and programme are on the EIA website at http://eia.org.uk/training.php

The deadline for bookings is Monday 6 April.

Regards,

Eric
