***Apologies for Cross Posting*** For Immediate Release: The Repositories Support Project (RSP) is delighted to announce that booking is now open for the RSP EPrints Training Day, to be held at the University of Liverpool on Friday April 24th 2009 Attendee prerequisites: Attendees should be willing to use the Linux command-line, familiar with coding and Object-Oriented principles. Schedule: Morning Session: Repository Management and Configuration: This session will introduce some of the API, and show how to use the configuration files to modify the abstract page, set default values on newly created EPrints, change render methods on metadata fields, etc. Afternoon Session: API Scripting and Plugins: A more in-depth look at the API. The programme will cover exercises using scripts to manage the records in your repository and the changing of the behaviour of EPrints through plugin modification and creation. Each session will be a presentation followed by a set of practical exercises.
