Do you mean the median value (or max) at each point? Or do you mean select the median or max voxel from some reference point, and extract that voxels timecourse? You could always separate your mask into voxels and extract each voxels timecourse, then you can do it yourself.

Hi Jen,

I might be wrong, but I don't remember I've ever seen a fsl function to extract the median.

However, if you have AFNI, you can do "3dROIstats" or "3dmaskave", both have option of median extraction included.

Greeting fsl gurus!!!

fslmeants will allow me to extract the mean timeseries for an ROI mask from
with in feat directories where feat preprocessing has been applied.

Is there a way to get the median or maximum value for this ROI which will be
more representative of significant voxels in the ROI?

i see no documentation for fslmediants. Please help..I am interested in
extracting median time series data from ROIs but not running a glm.

Thanks,
Jen
