Training Opportunities in Social Research
The
National Centre for Social Research, the UK’s largest independent social research organisation, has always had a strong commitment to supporting and developing the quality of social research in the wider research community. Since 2005, NatCen
Learning has been providing researchers and policy makers with high-quality, training and support in social research. We provide training and research support across the social research community and to organisations/bodies in other sectors keen to learn
the applied techniques and underpinning theories of applied social research. Our training is unique, from other key providers, in being routinely provided by highly skilled researchers with extensive,
ongoing, experience of applied social policy research. We focus on equipping delegates with ‘real world’ research skills and capabilities which will enable them to design, conduct, manage or use social research in the most effective, ethical and robust
manner possible.
