Thanks, Lynne  (and to others who have responded, too)

I'm heartened by the messages suggesting that I got it right.  It has been important to explore this in open forum, the more so in the light of the message I received that said to me "The list must be asked about this".  Even so we must always remember that we can change, within JISC limits, whatever we choose to change, simply by reaching consensus on it.  Sam and I simply implement your consensus based wishes as best we can.

I'm not sure we do much to make it interesting and informative, though!  Well, except my tilts at windmills every so often!  The interest is down to everyone being willing and happy to post and willing to risk being wrong in a safe environment (even if some of us have been known to get over enthusiastic sometimes saying so!)

Just want to add my support for Tim's action which seems well within the
group's protocol.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to say how much I appreciate his and
Sam's work on this list - it's by far the most active, interesting and useful
newsgroup I've come across.

Thanks to you both,
Lynne
