My house is shown, and the car numberplate is blurred, but there are very many that aren't (far more than 0.1%), and even more faces that aren't blurred. Their automatic blurring also affects other things - like some "no waiting" and other signs and even car hubcaps.

Another interesting aspect is: what if the views appear to show the camera car's driven down a road where traffic is prohibited, or has made a prohibited turn?

Turning left out of this one-way street is prohibited, and the road round the corner a bike and bus lane, http://tinyurl.com/cb7dql  so how were these pictures taken?
