Scottish Natural Heritage wishes to commission research regarding the provision of path attribute information ie information which describes the physical characteristics of a path, to potential path users, to enable them to decide if a path is likely to be suitable for them. This is with a view to increasing the confidence of path users (or potential path users) thus increasing participation in informal recreational activity outdoors.
