Update:
After some false starts and difficulties with the service provider, our networking website is now active. Currently I have simply posted a modest index page to check everything is working – the next step is to get blogging up and running and start installing interactive software.
There will be a lot issues about design and accessibility to sort out long term, but proof that the site is finally working (four weeks later than expected ;-) is here:

I will be in touch with the various volunteers because we can now, at last, start thinking about how to develop this space. We have a blank canvas!
