I thought I'd let you know that Jamie McKendrick has written a negative response to my Heaney article (http://jacketmagazine.com/37/heaney-side.shtml), for Jacket magzine. Whilst I don't mind such responses, I do feel he takes it a little personally when he includes in his defensive diatribe an attack on Ira Lightman, simply because Ira liked my article.
