The 2009 International Conference of the Royal Statistical Society will take place in Edinburgh from 7-11 September. As part of the Society's 175th anniversary celebrations the conference theme will be 'Statistics in a changing society: 175 years of progress'. A line up of leading international speakers from a broad range of sectors has already been confirmed. Plenary talks will be given by Sir David Cox, Sir Iain Chalmers, John Beddington and Stephen Stigler. Abstract submissions are currently invited for contributed sessions, talks and posters.
