Sean

We evaluated seven multi-analyte urine reagent strips in 1998, four URS readers and their strips in 2001 and POCT tests for microabuminuria in 2004.  The micoalbuminuria reports are available from the CEP website www.pasa.nhs.uk/cep

I can email a copy of our URSR report if you would like it.  The 1998 URS report is not in pdf format but I can scan the summary if it would be of any use.

We are currently producing a buyers guide for POCT tests for HbA1c and microalbuminuria, which includes a short evaluation of the products.  This will be published in the next few weeks on the CEP website and if you are interested in this report, I can let you know when it is available.

Best wishes
Wendy

Dear colleagues,

Can I get some information on people's experience with POCT on urine samples in urine?

Do  urinalysis strips work well and for which parameters? Is External Quality Control easy and workable?

Many thanks in advance,

Sean Maguire,
