I think Beamish have a good collection of old trade directories, they might be able to help? Otherwise, I'm sure the book 'Yesterday's Shopping: The Army and Navy Stores Catalogue' - a facsimile reprint of the 1907 catalogue - might potentially be of some use. Regards Adam Adam G. However, the donor was not too sure what they were used for or when they originally dated from. Can anyone help me with this please.
