Hmm, my one and only male pine marten is 17.3! and I measured it several times as per vdd just to make sure! obviously a lot of variation. the picture looks quite similar - the ridge and the foramen look the same as in the pine marten and not like the polecats I have - they all come out around 15 by the way, I don't have a beech marten to compare.
