Message for Jeremy. You said in your Christmas card 'New email address' then didn't say what it was! so this is to thank you for the St Woolos reference.
Also to flag up for the whole list that we (Jane Beckerman and I) are organising a conference on wells in north Wales (that's a conference in north Wales, mainly on wells in north Wales but some others as well) on the weekend of 12-13 Sept. Venue Bangor University, so there should be reasonable accommodation available in halls. General lectures on Saturday morning, round table session in the afternoon discussing ongoing work on wells in Wales including the excavation at Ffynnon Elian and Jonathan Wooding's proposal to produce a revised and updated version of Francis Jones's book. Speakers will include Eirlys Gruffydd and Tristram Gray Hulse. Sunday: field visits to Anglesey wells including the other Ffynnon Eilian, possibly another cursing well, the very-difficult-to-find well near Llanfihangel Din Silwy church and the lovely well, church and priory ruins at Penmon.
Put it in the diary!
Best wishes
Maddy
