The University of Westminster is about to embark
on an ambitious project to relaunch our website and intranet. Would you
welcome the challenge of shaping the character and style of a leading University
website? Could you persuade a whole community of colleagues with strong
opinions to agree with your plans? If you are passionate about the
Internet, brilliant at organising, with a flair for editing and demonstrable
experience managing large, complex websites, then you could be the ideal
candidate to lead the University of Westminster into its crucial next phase of
website development.
You’ll report to the Director of Communications
with whom you’ll define the key audiences, objectives and roles for the site and
establish both plans and priorities for development. You’ll work with a wide
range of contributors, stakeholders and technical supporters, especially our
Information Systems and Library Services (ISLS) team. You’ll be a highly
effective communicator, with good design and technical skills and an
understanding of the role of university websites in an increasingly competitive
global environment.
