Hi there, > I am trying to co-register Fractional Anisotropy (DTI_FA - > resolution-1.8*1.8*4-33 slices) of a subject to his T1 image ( > resolution-0.98*0.98*3-60 slices) using spm 8b. I even tried spm5. Both > the images are in Analyze format there are two things I would try: one, segment the T1 and try coregistering the FA to the WM map; they should be closer, and as the WM is in register with the T1, the FA map would be, too. Secondly, you could try to use a bias-corrected T1 as the target. I seem to suggest that a lot ;) but it does work for me in some cases when all else fails.
