medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture Another of my awkward questions which someone may easily be able to answer. Does anyone know if an edition of the Letters of Peter the Venerable, Abbot of Cluny was published before Migne brought out vol 189 of the "Patrologia Latina" in 1854 ? I could find nothing earlier in the Catalogue of the British Library nor on COPAC. On the other hand, a "search" of the BL general catalogue under P the V did not show up the Vol. in the PL either! I do not have a copy of the Giles Constable edition to check the bibliography.
