As a proof reader/copy editor and writer, I am faced with these lazy mistakes on a daily basis.
Sadly, I also deal with the same ‘professionals’ and despite repeating the reasons for the apostrophe, they continue to get wrong.
It's also difficult when clients send copy to be edited - and they insist on the grammar remaining the same.
