You are invited to attend the CILIP in Hants & Wight Sub-branch AGM and CPD event, which is being held on the afternoon of Wednesday 25 March 2009 in Seminar Room 2 at the University of Portsmouth Library. Pathways, Portfolios and Professional Qualifications As well as the formal business of the AGM, Michael Martin, the Adviser for Qualifications and Professional Development at CILIP will be presenting an overview of CILIP qualifications. Michael has been promoting the benefits of CILIP qualifications for a number of years, and also supports Members in Certification, Chartering, Revalidation and Fellowship. As well as a question and answer session with Michael, there will an opportunity to talk to people who have achieved CILIP qualifications and their mentors, and to see examples of successful portfolios. Programme for the event 1330 - 1400 Registration and tea/coffee * 1400 - 1500 Overview of CILIP qualifications presented by Michael Martin 1500 - 1515 Question & answer session 1515 - 1545 CILIP in Hants & Wight AGM 1545 - 1615 Refreshments and networking (plus opportunity to talk to past candidates, and look at portfolios) *Seminar room 2 will be available from 1330 for anyone wishing to bring their own lunch. The University Library is situated in Cambridge Road (PO1 2ST). Turn left from the station entrance, and cross Guildhall Square into Guildhall Walk. The map above will help you find the way. The venue is accessible to wheelchairs.
