I wasn’t aware until receiving your message that there was a new
version out today but have just successfully upgraded on 2 PCs and downloaded both
the test doc and an actual SED.

Subject: Digital Editions / SED problems
We’re finding this morning
that we’ve been unable to open any SED documents as Adobe has launched a new
edition of Digital Editions. When you click on the ‘click here’ link in the
BL’s email it tries to launch Digital Editions as usual and then comes up with
the following message:
““There is a new version of
Adobe Digital Editions available. To continue using Adobe Digital
Editions you must download the update”
However, we have been
unable to download the new version of Digital Editions as we get an error
message each time we try. Has anyone else had this problem / been able to
successfully download the new version?
I’ve phoned the BL Doc
Supply Centre and they know about the problem. They are waiting for Adobe
to get back to them but in the meantime SEDs are inaccessible.
I was wondering whether
anyone had found a way round this problem?
